BUSY TIMES

Times have been soooo busy up here that I'm running behind on my blogging. Since we last met we had the super successful grade 6 Leadership conference. The kids were introduce to the new leadership program that involves them undertaking challenges to earn badges. Each badge represents nine behaviours of a successful leader. There are nine badges for the children to earn over the year. Here they are:

During the conference the leaders were lucky enough to hear from two leaders from our community. Senior Sergeant Wayne Spence from Diamond Creek Police and Captain Leanne Simmons from Christmas Hills CFA shared their experiences with leadership. The children were able to make great links to their own Leadership needs. Here's all the action:

Our swimming carnival was a grouse day too!
It was great to see USF trying their best and cheering on their classmates. We thank Mr Kendall for organising an awesome day!!
